3. Failure is not Your Enemy

4. Rejection will happen. Embrace it, Lean into it, Learn from it, Gaurd Yourself and Win

Always Bet on Yourself…First.

Be careful to solely bet on the performance of others before betting on yourself first. Your investments in you should never be taken for granted or treated as a second fiddle. Their returns are strategically used to help you to learn and grow as the first partaker. Furthermore, they create your evidential footprint to help others to learn and grow as they walk their paths of life.

Just a little about your past as it will try to stall and keep you from betting on yourself. Just know it was never meant for you to keep your focus pointed behind you or on what you did/did not do. On the contrary, your past was designed to point you forward. To launch you into the stars and beyond to make you relevant, to empower you to frame, and make needed changes in your environment, your community, and so much more.

You are positioned and empowered to…

Take and Absorb Risks.

Change your first response to a challenge from “I Can’t do it” to “I Can do it”. Then, see the challenge as an opportunity and from there, your second response will be to take the ownership of the whole opportunity with a plan to mitigate the risk.

Scramble Your Comfort Zone.

Your comfort zone becomes a safe place and will stop you from forward movement. Keep it off track by seizing opportunities that stretch and influence you to feel awkward and strange. Then, step into them and perform little by little. Growth will come as a result.

Fail and not See it as Your Enemy.

Failing is inevitable. It will come whether you like it or not. So, have your moment of displeasure…then, tighten up your shoestrings, learn why you failed, adjust your thinking, reset your plan, execute, and watch what happens.

Experience Rejection, but not be Removed from the Path of Winning.

On the path of winning, so many yucky things can possibly happen. Some of them have the strength to sabotage you if you let them. A main one that I can share with you is rejection. It can penetrate your thinking and emotions if you do not check it at the door of your mind. It can be a showstopper for the next event, causing you to think you will be rejected just like before.

I wish I can tell you that it will never happen, but that would be a lie because it will occur, and it never feels good when you experience it. So, embrace it, lean into it, learn from it, and guard yourself from thinking that you will be rejected the next opportunity. This will help you to win and continue winning.

These four helpmeets are not exhausted in anyway. They, however, are stones that will sustain your decision to Always Bet on Yourself. Use them to build and advance forward.
